Ricki is a licensed physical therapist in MA, she practiced as a physical therapist in inpatient rehabilitation for 4 years. There, she developed her expertise working on a neurological unit with patients suffering from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and movement disorders. Ricki participated in hospital-wide programs including Parkinson’s wellness groups, being the leader and educator for innovation and rehabilitation technologies, and a member of the New England Neuro-Rehabilitation annual conference planning committee. Following it, Ricki was a clinic manager in one of Boston’s outpatient community clinics who strive to service the community. There she expanded her expertise in treating orthopedic and vestibular diagnosis and performing telehealth treatments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ricki is passionate about physical therapy education and she has achieved her Neurologic Clinician Specialist certification. She also takes part as a clinical instructor for full time PT students and teaches as a lab instructor at MGH IHP in a hands-on neurological course. Ricki recently graduated with DPT degree from Arcadia University.
Ricki is a physical therapist with experience over 8 years. She originally got trained and licensed in Israel with wide interests in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic, geriatrics, acute and chronic care. She graduated from Tel Aviv University in 2012, and practiced in one of Israel’s largest hospitals. She provided acute care rehabilitation services on neurology, neurosurgery, and internal medicine floors as well as in the outpatient rehabilitation clinic. Additionally, she is an avid user of new technologies and ran a virtual reality gait training session for people with Parkinson’s disease.
