Amelia Ball

Amelia Ball, OTR, CHC is a holistic occupational therapist and health coach living and working in Austin, TX after graduating from OT school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in December, 2015. She has clinical experience working with individuals in a home health setting for the past 4 years. Amelia has been involved in the holistic OT community after experiencing the power of mind/body/spirit concepts as an important part of overall health. Amelia has furthered her education through certifications in health coaching, myofascial release, Reiki, EFT, and by taking courses in women’s health, massage, and pain management. Amelia is passionate about preventive care, treating the whole person and underlying causes of an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation. Amelia is excited to work with XRHealth using VR to engage clients in occupations that are client-centered and largely include self-care, play, stress management techniques, movement, nutrition, sleep, rest, and other preventative care methods as an important aspect to overall health. In her free time, you can find Amelia out on the trails, doing pilates or yoga, and hanging out with her fiancé Alejandro and their cat Pablo.
